A netizen has proof that the latest photo leaks of BTS‘s V and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie are Photoshopped.
In May, V and Jennie were linked after media outlets reported on a photo alleged to be of the two together on Jeju Island, Korea. Yet, netizens quickly debated its authenticity.

Additional alleged photos of V and Jennie have continued to be released by the now infamous user Gurumi Haribo (@gurumiharibo). With more and more photos released, netizens have been increasingly divided about what is real and what is fake.

Twitter user Neon (@Neon86342259) has also attempted to expose Gurumiharibo. Allegedly, Gurumiharibo is making edits for money.

Yet, another user, @vvvaugghn, shared the latest Jennie and V pictures. This time, they mainly appeared to be taken of one’s phone during video calls.
They looked so real, and many couldn’t source the original images. So, fans became concerned that someone had hacked her iCloud storage.

However, Twitter user @aepinkc is proving these new photos to be fake by resurfacing source images.
The first and most controversial photo showing V and Jennie appearing cuddly is actually two photos merged. V’s is from his recent solo vlog while he was driving, and Jennie’s is from a fansite’s photo of her taken from a fanmeeting.
So that’s the original picture of Jennie and Taehyung

@aepinkc also pointed out how the previous photo of Jennie allegedly taking a photo of V was likely created by merging other photos of Jennie.
One of the other newly released photos by Gurumiharibo showed V lounging at Jennie’s mom’s house with one of her cats. But clearly, a Photoshop cursor is in the image, proving it was edited.

With further evidence that the photos are edited, fans can feel more at ease that the idols’ photo storage was not hacked into. Still, many are disturbed over the lack of response from HYBE and YG Entertainment.
